Our Purpose in Life

We are an adult band aimed at enabling adults who play a musical instrument at whatever level of ability in a group band setting.  We also specialize in re-teaching adults who once played music but have gotten away from it for years.  Our purpose is to offer every individual the opportunity to play music in a band regardless of their age or musical ability.
Intermediate Level Band class meets on Tuesdays from 6-8pm.
 
NEWSFLASH!!  New Adult Beginning Band starting up on Thursdays
Have you ever wished you could dust off your old instrument from High School days and start playing again?  Did you always want to play a band instrument when you were younger, but never really had the opportunity?  If you answered "YES" to either of those questions, this class is for you!  Join us at Evola Music on Haggerty Road in Canton for an exciting introduction to band.  Ages 18 to second childhood are welcome!  Sign-up for class and any questions about tuition or instrument rental should be directed to Lauren Erickson at Lauren.Erickson@Evola.com .  Class will meet every Thursday, 6-8pm at Evola music in Canton for 8 weeks.  Email Lauren to inquire!

History of the Band

The New Horizons Band of Canton was born in the summer of 2007 at Evola Music.  The band started off with a total of four members and has been growing ever since.  We have an amazing array of students that include late beginners through professionals.
